A very striking and outstanding TANK of a mare!  Our sweet Tazi was imported from England in 2006 as a yearling.  Her sire Taz (see his photo at the bottom of the page), has a reputation for producing bodies and she doesn't disappoint...heavy in body and in bone!  She's got plenty of hair too!   Her mane is growing back very quickly after she had rubbed it out.  Her tail is dragging the ground!  Very generous to very heavy feathering!  And talk about a powerhouse of a mover!!  You can feel the ground shake when she trots by!  She has a lot of presence with a stallion-like quality.  An attention getter wherever she goes!  Tazi is very sweet and loves to hang out with her people and "four legged" friends!  She loves her baths and is just so easy to get along with.  Color possibilities with her too!  As a broodmare, she settled quickly and carried without incident.  She foaled without any complications and had plenty of milk.  To see her daughter Pippa, go her her own page on this site.  Tazi was excellent with us handling her little girl too.   Hard to imagine selling her, but after breaking my back, I must let one go every once in a while to ensure quality care for all.  Quality original foundation imports are getting harder and harder to find!  Don't let her slip away!

Tazi was bred by Steve Down "SD FARM" in England.  Steve is considered to be one of the top Gypsy Horse breeders in the UK. Try to import this mare at her asking price!  I guarantee you'll pay alot more for her as Steve's horses are "coming to the front" in the U.S.!!
